Description
Summary:With a principal components methodology, this article describes the dynamics of knowledge generation and use of industrial property systems at the regional level, and proposes an index regionalization that offers objective criteria to advance in the location of regional IP offices in Colombia. Results from the index were complemented by a comparative analysis of transportation costs, which allowed ranking the different departments based on their socioeconomic characteristics and generation of technological innovation activities. © 2014, Universidad Externado de Colombia.
