Percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ileal conduit- lithotripsy and litholapaxy for a neglected encrusted ureteral stent
Urolithiasis can result as a complication of urinary diversión, favored by urinary stasis, intestinal mucus, urinary tract bacteriuria, the metabolic derangements and the presence of foreign bodies. We present a 52- year-old male who underwent radical cystectomy with construction of a Bricker ureter...

We present a 52- year-old male who underwent radical cystectomy with construction of a Bricker uretero-ileostomy. 5 years later he was found with a forgotten ureteral stent, a 6 cm calculi occupying the whole ileal conduit and a 13 mm calculi in the left renal pelvis. We present our experience in the successful endourological management of an encrusted neglected ureteral stent in an ileal conduit, achieving a stone-free status without complications. © 2017 The Authorsapplication/pdfISSN 2214-4420http://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/19007eng1917Urology Case ReportsVol. 15Urology Case Reports, ISSN: 2214-4420, Vol. 15 (2017) pp. 17-19https://www.clinicalkey.es/service/content/pdf/watermarked/1-s2.0-S2214442017301481.pdf?locale=es_ESAbierto (Texto Completo)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Cohen, J., Giuliano, K., Sopko, N., Gandhi, N., Jayram, G., Matlaga, B.R., Cystolitholapaxy in ileal conduit (2015) Urol case Rep, 3 (6), pp. 185-187instname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURElectrohydraulic Shockwave LithotripsyIleal ConduiteLitholapaxyMalignant Tumor Of Urinary BladderUrinary CatheterUrolithiasisEnfermedades616600Enfermedades de la uretraUrolitiasisBacteriuriaPercutaneous nephrolithotomy, ileal conduit- lithotripsy and litholapaxy for a neglected encrusted ureteral stentarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Gutierrez, AndrésChavarriaga, JuliánOcampo, María A.Hernandez, CarlosGutierrez, AndrésChavarriaga, JuliánOcampo, María A.Hernandez, CarlosORIGINAL8.pdfapplication/pdf895762https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/62fef772-2cde-4d2a-821f-1323f1e16a14/download4d798809577f40704490d55d8978ac78MD51TEXT8.pdf.txt8.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain11841https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/0cd7a87b-8175-43f9-81ad-a4fc8be86c18/download620ff557d93116806e74e2942258a5c2MD52THUMBNAIL8.pdf.jpg8.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg4767https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/b0a9d561-9765-487a-82bf-a17ff402bf43/download6f6eea7bf40296bb87079e3cbb24e2ebMD5310336/19007oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/190072019-09-19 07:37:54.609585https://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co |
