The most common complication of esophageal rupture is mediastinitis. There are several case reports in the literature of mediastinitis secondary to esophageal perforation and development of aortic pseudoaneurysm as a complication. We report the case of a patient with an 8-day history of esophageal perforation due to foreign body (fishbone) with mediastinitis and aortic pseudoaneurysm. The diagnosis was made using Computed Tomography (CT) with intravenous and oral water-soluble contrast material. An esophagogastroduodenoscopy did not detect the perforation.application/pdfhttps://doi.org/10.1155/2016/7982641https://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/24950engCase Reports in Radiology7982641Case Reports in RadiologyVol. 2016Case Reports in Radiology, ISSN: , Vol.2016, No. (2016); pp. 7982641http://downloads.hindawi.com/journals/crira/2016/7982641.pdfAbierto (Texto Completo)http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2instname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURMedical and Health SciencesClinical SciencesAortic Pseudoaneurysm Secondary to Mediastinitis due to Esophageal PerforationarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Zuluaga, Claudia PatriciaAluja Jaramillo, FelipeVelásquez Castaño, Sergio AndrésRivera Bernal, Aura LucíaGranada, Julio CesarCarrillo Bayona, Jorge AlbertoORIGINAL7982641.pdfapplication/pdf1763512https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/aa690aa6-3537-41a8-a065-5d2f726aace5/download23b36c24f239746374b38c7f5722e4cbMD51TEXT7982641.pdf.txt7982641.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain20417https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/9f994495-a650-4cc6-8ebc-cbcd426f1332/downloada53d0f01d9a3666c795da184da2b2850MD52THUMBNAIL7982641.pdf.jpg7982641.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg4405https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/a755a406-8662-4522-9b29-0123e1af7e9c/download096051eca7187a99a902fe6ba83e257bMD5310336/24950oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/249502022-05-02 07:37:21.716776https://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co |
