The clinical presentation is unspecific, with symptoms ranging from abdominal pain, malaise, and weight loss to atypical manifestation which include hyperammonemic encephalopathy. We present the case of a 33-year-old woman with no prior medical history who presented with a coma and a diagnosis of inoperable fibrolamellar hepatocarcinoma requiring a cadaver donor transplant. While she was on the waiting list, she received hemofiltration and ammonium benzoate treatment, with progressive improvement in her state of consciousness.application/pdfhttps://doi.org/10.1155/2018/7521986https://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/24758engCase Reports in Hepatology7521986Case Reports in HepatologyVol. 2018Case Reports in Hepatology, ISSN: , Vol.2018, No. (2018-12-09); pp. 7521986http://downloads.hindawi.com/journals/crihep/2018/7521986.pdfAbierto (Texto Completo)http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2instname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURMedical and Health SciencesClinical SciencesFibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma and Noncirrhotic Hyperammonemic EncephalopathyarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Suarez, OscarPerez, MaríaGarzon, MartinDaza, RodrigoHernandez, GeovannySalinas, CarolinaCeballos, Jorgede Leon, Enrique PMugnier, JacquelineBeltrán, OscarVarón, AdrianaORIGINAL7521986.pdfapplication/pdf2905724https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/a3478330-083b-453e-b6a9-3f899d6136e2/download2431003e590e1509a5f77f4f637ebb6cMD51TEXT7521986.pdf.txt7521986.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain27100https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/f81372b0-2054-4e7f-98ed-f3855bf2739a/downloadddb0f5f40d960f4cd16893d3a3e645fdMD52THUMBNAIL7521986.pdf.jpg7521986.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg4289https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/79bf9b32-6405-4131-b864-06fc45afd1f9/downloade508d26439c977d15c630e4f29dc7ac5MD5310336/24758oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/247582021-06-03 00:50:34.293https://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co |
