Summary:The concept of a healthy organization continues to acquire greater relevance in the academic and business world, since it has been said that it relates to positive results with different interest groups: employees, partners, suppliers, clients and society. Based on the aforementioned, the objective of this article is to propose an explanatory model for a healthy organization. Descriptive methodology is used to compile different existing approaches and models about healthy organizations. As a result of the analysis, an explanatory model for a healthy organization is proposed that seeks to integrate and incorporate internal and external factors that determine the well-being of the organization and its interest groups.
