El municipio de Yopal cuenta con déficit en lo referente al espacio público, su índice se establece en 8.2 m²/habitante, rezagando del indicador establecido (OMS) : 10 y 15 m²/habitante. Sumado a esto, existen sectores que hacen parte del inventario urbano municipal que evidencian una notoria deficiencia y deterioro respecto a la cantidad de zonas duras, la calidad de su infraestructura y las limitaciones a la accesibilidad . Se realizará intervención de la carrera 18 (Caño Seco) entre las calles 9 y 13, como proyecto derrotero hacia la recuperación y activaciónurbana. La sección vial intervenida en el proyecto es de gran relevancia municipal, ya que conecta directamente equipamientos como la alcaldía municipal, gobernación del departamento y el centro administrativo urbano, y es una de las intercepciones viales que apoyan la transición de la movilidad de la zona céntrica del municipio hacia la vía nacional Marginal de la selva y su conexión a nivel nacional. La población beneficiada por el proyecto incluye los 156.942 habitantes efectivamente censados (DANE, 2023) y residentes en el casco urbano del municipio de Yopal, identificación DANE 85001. |
