The research question was systematized according to the PCC (Population, Concept, and Context) format. A scoping review was performed. A search of multiple bibliographic databases identified 407 papers, of which 21 met the inclusion criteria. The populations of the 21 studies reviewed were composed of professionals in the fields of medicine, nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and social work, among others. The study contexts were both academic and nonacademic hospitals, mental health institutions, and community settings, and the topics examined were organizational climate, organizational culture, organizational attachment and job satisfaction. The findings from the reviewed studies showed positive effects of IPE interventions on organizational climate and culture, but the results on job satisfaction and organizational attachment were mixed (i.e., positive and no effects following IPE interventions). Research on IPE is worth more attention as IPE could be an effective alternative for the fulfillment of the Quadruple Aim and achieving the third of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at improving health and well-being. It seems critical for IPE to be positioned as a trend in global health, aiming at boosting human health resources as one of its building blocks and calling the attention of health decision-makers.application/pdf10.1007/s10459-023-10300-41382-4996https://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/42174engUniversidad del Rosariohttps://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38038831/Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 InternationalAbierto (Texto Completo)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Advances in Health Sciences Educationinstname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURGlobal healthHealth professionalsInterprofessional educationInterprofessional health careOrganizational environmentScoping review. The effect of interprofessional education on the work environment of health professionalsarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Medina Cordoba, MarianaCadavid Espinha, SaraEspinosa-Aranzales, Angela FernandaORIGINALThe effect of interprofessional.pdfapplication/pdf1442460https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/7fd59936-94dd-4c08-9f6d-f838974d4577/download96fc2c5aa23dbb0b5e1fe8220f4358e5MD51TEXTThe effect of interprofessional.pdf.txtThe effect of interprofessional.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain72424https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/334433a0-e0f7-457d-bb3f-ae07e6c3981d/download975200721dfc16c258e540c84143bf7dMD52THUMBNAILThe effect of interprofessional.pdf.jpgThe effect of interprofessional.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg4472https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/2d6ed946-1c0e-401e-9254-bf3a08d1d7bd/downloaddcd492dd3f64fb88b017013b8a484d49MD5310336/42174oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/421742024-02-01 03:00:50.036http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 Internationalhttps://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co |
