Description
Summary:It was assessed the influence of the quality of life on aggressive behavior patterns composed of behaviors, situations and motives for aggression, in workers of the health sector, using the model of quality of life as an intervention strategy. A number of 61 participants were grouped by socioeconomic characteristics, the family economic ratio was obtained and they completed the quality of life questionnaire SF-36, the inventory of situations and aggressive behaviors ISCA and the inventory of motives for aggression IMA. The most common aggressive behaviors were the attitudes and gestures of anger, verbal aggression and failing to cooperate with others. The associated situations were personal or family finances, family relationships and work. The most common motives were defending values, anger and feeling they have been unfair to you. The dimensions of QOL with higher scores were physical function and physical role. The economic ratio and all SF-36 dimensions, except physical function, were related and had an influenced on some characteristic of the patterns of aggressive behavior. This confirms the use of quality of life as an intervention strategy. © 2011 Fundación AIGLÉ.
