Summary:The analysis of 210 possible cases for legal demand for the health professionals, received in the service of  Forensic Clinic of the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of the city of Santiago de Cali during the years 2006-2008, it allowed to show since they endure these cases. The review bears in mind the  variables: authority that requests the opinion, juridical risk of unfavorable response for the implied one, professional of the health more frequently demanded and the specialty, level of responsibility of the attention and service, the gender and age of the patient. There is demonstrated that the doctors are the professionals of the health more defendants; inside the medical specialities those of major risk for demands are: the gineco-obstetrics, general medicine, general surgery, plastic surgery and anesthesiology.
