description La panleucopenia felina (PLF) es una enfermedad causada por la infección del protoparvovirus carnívoro 1 (CPV-1), el cual ha amenazado gravemente la salud de los felinos alrededor del mundo. Hasta el día de hoy se han desarrollado distintos métodos diagnósticos, principalmente basados en pruebas moleculares para la detección sensible del CPV-1 en la clínica y su rápida caracterización de la cepa viral. El objetivo de esta revisión literaria es recopilar la información de las herramientas de diagnóstico más precisas, aunque limitadas desde signos clínicos, hemogramas, PCR, test antígeno inmunocromatográfico, ELISA hasta detección post mortem.
