Identificar la relación entre el Síndrome de Burnout, depresión e ideación suicida en profesionales de la salud. Método: revisión sistemática de literatura siguiendo los lineamientos de la declaración PRISMA. La búsqueda se realizó por medio de las bases de datos Scopus, Taylor & Francis, Ovid y Proquest, incluyendo artículos científicos del 2015 hasta el 2020. Resultados: Se encontraron 20 artículos en español e inglés que cumplen con los criterios de selección en poblaciones de médicos, enfermeras, psicólogos, fisioterapeutas, fonoaudiólogos, u otras profesiones del sector salud. Conclusiones: se evidencia que existe una relación entre el Síndrome de Burnout, depresión e ideación suicida, afectando aspectos de la persona tanto laborales, personales y familiares. Es recomendable brindar apoyo psicológico al personal de la salud para disminuir el riesgo y la sintomatología tanto del Síndrome de Burnout como de la depresión, y reducir el riesgo de suicidio. |

Conclusiones: se evidencia que existe una relación entre el Síndrome de Burnout, depresión e ideación suicida, afectando aspectos de la persona tanto laborales, personales y familiares. Es recomendable brindar apoyo psicológico al personal de la salud para disminuir el riesgo y la sintomatología tanto del Síndrome de Burnout como de la depresión, y reducir el riesgo de suicidio.Goal: to identify the relationship between symptoms of Burnout with depression and suicidal thoughts on healthcare personnel. Method: systematic review following PRISMA guidelines. Scopus, Taylor & Francis, Ovid and Proquest databases where used, including only research papers from 2015 to 2020. Results: 20 documents, in Spanish or English, were found to follow all selection criterion and studied medics, nurses, psychologists, physical therapists, speech therapist, or other professionals in healthcare. Conclusions: a relationship between Burnout symptoms, depression and suicidal thoughts was found, affecting professionals in different areas such as work, personal life, and family.
