La participación del Gobierno federal en la financiación de la expansión universitaria comenzó en 1957 cuando el rápido incremento del número de alumnos y el desarrollo general de la ciencia, produjeron como resultado alarmantes aumentos en la necesidad de instituciones de educación superior, así como en la investigación científica en todas las disciplinas. |
