Insiste en la necesidad que la distinción de las cooperativas se haga por el medio de la ley y propone la participación democrática en su sentido más amplio como criterio de distinción en un entorno en donde la noción de empresa cambia radicalmente.O artigo parte do fenômeno da homogeneização de formas de negócios por leis organizacionais para apresentar argumentos empíricos e legais em favor da manutenção da diversidade dessas formas como elemento de realização do conceito jurídico de desenvolvimento sustentável.
