description Este estudio sintetiza investigaciones sobre tecnologías emergentes en el ámbito legal. Utiliza un enfoque cualitativo descriptivo documental basado en artículos científicos y sigue las pautas de una monografía jurídica. Los resultados destacan contribuciones en áreas como revisión eficiente de documentos, predicción de resultados legales, automatización de tareas, autenticación de documentos mediante blockchain, asistencia legal con chatbots, realidad virtual y aumentada en reconstrucción de escenas y visualización de datos legales, contratos inteligentes, transcripción de conversaciones legales, acceso remoto a documentos en la nube, ciberseguridad, y confidencialidad en las comunicaciones abogado-cliente. Se concluye que estos avances han transformado la práctica legal.
