Metritis in mares is a challenge for the veterinary professional where the decision making in front of the pathology plays a fundamental role to end the infection or later the advance of the infection with very serious consequences for the mare. The clinical considerations in the face of metritis in mares can be of vital importance, since the management of the infection will present us with two paths to follow as is the solution to the metritis or the second path will be the presentation of a secondary syndrome that leads to an endotoxemia concluding in a laminitic picture. In the following literature review we are based on the clinical events before presenting a picture of laminitis following a metritis infection, which is known as metritis syndrome, endotoxemia, laminitis.carlo.hernandeza@campusucc.edu.comaria.contrerasa@campusucc.edu.co21 p.Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud, Medicina Veterinaría y Zootecnia, IbaguéMedicina veterinaria y zootecniaIbaguéMetritis equinaLaminitisSíndromeTratamientoDiagnósticoEndotoxemiaTG 2021 MVZ 41071Equine metritisLaminitisSyndromeTreatmentDiagnosisEndotoxemiaMetritis equina: acontecimientos clínicos antes de llegar a presentar un cuadro de laminitisTrabajo de grado - Pregradohttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1finfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionAtribucióninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Anzai R, Wada R, Okuda T.
