Description
Summary:The aim of this study was to measure the effect on hematological values using two protocols for blood collection and physiological status. Were randomly sampled 44 dogs of different age, race and sex located in the Huellitas Foundation of the urban area of the municipality of Arauca. The blood samples were taken by venous puncture using the syringe and only needle, and were transported in Styrofoam caves to the laboratory of the animal clinic clinic of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia Arauca headquarters for their respective analysis. To determine the hematocrit, capillaries were used; these were placed in the centrifuge for five minutes at 13,000 rpm; Subsequently the capillary was measured with commercial tables holding the tube exactly at the same level of the horizontal line; The mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (Chcm) was obtained from the hemoglobin / hematocrit mathematical relation; The total white blood cell (Rtb) count was made by means of the neubauer chamber and the differential white blood cell count was subjected to rapid hemacolor staining. A total of 270 blood tables were performed. To analyze the effect of the two protocols and the physiological status on the values hematocrit (Hto), hemoglobin (Hb), Total count of white blood cells (Rtb), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (Chcm), Neutrophils (Neu), Lymphocyte
