La tuberculosis es una enfermedad bacteriana causada por un bacilo acido-alcohol resistente también conocido como bacilo de koch, se habló de esta enfermedad en animales por primera vez en el siglo XIX pero como antropozoonosis hasta el año 1839 y 1883. Los agentes causales más comunes cuando hablamos de antropozoonosis son el Micobacterium tuberculosis y M. bovis su forma de transmisión más frecuente es por medio de partículas infectadas secretadas en tos y estornudos, los pacientes con enfermedades o condiciones que los hagan presentar inmunodepresión son más susceptibles a la enfermedad independientemente si es un animal o un humano. |
