description Durante la fase inicial de la pandemia, muchos profesionales del talento humano en salud colombiano se vieron obligados a cambiar sus lugares y modalidades de prestación de servicios. Como es bien sabido que una medida de prevención como la cuarentena también puede generar efectos psicológicos negativos, el objetivo del presente estudio fue describir características sociodemográficas, contagios y diagnóstico de COVID-19, estado de salud, abuso de alcohol, sustancias psicoactivas, cambios en las condiciones de trabajo, disminución o desabastecimiento de elementos de protección personal, medicamentos y recurso humano, percepción de la medida de cuarentena y respeto de medidas de seguridad sanitaria, expectativas sobre la pandemia, etc., en una muestra no probabilística de 133 profesionales que respondieron de manera voluntaria un cuestionario en línea. Los resultados mostraron que las mujeres, personas jóvenes, en primera línea de salud, con enfermedades crónicas, trastornos mentales, con parientes o colegas contagiados, son más vulnerables psicológicamente durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Estos resultados contribuyen a comprender las respuestas ante la cuarentena y la pandemia en el talento humano en salud y ayudan a identificar factores protectores y de vulnerabilidad para diseñar programas de intervención y prevención.

Ediciones Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. https://doi.org/10.16925/wpai.13Durante la fase inicial de la pandemia, muchos profesionales del talento humano en salud colombiano se vieron obligados a cambiar sus lugares y modalidades de prestación de servicios. Como es bien sabido que una medida de prevención como la cuarentena también puede generar efectos psicológicos negativos, el objetivo del presente estudio fue describir características sociodemográficas, contagios y diagnóstico de COVID-19, estado de salud, abuso de alcohol, sustancias psicoactivas, cambios en las condiciones de trabajo, disminución o desabastecimiento de elementos de protección personal, medicamentos y recurso humano, percepción de la medida de cuarentena y respeto de medidas de seguridad sanitaria, expectativas sobre la pandemia, etc., en una muestra no probabilística de 133 profesionales que respondieron de manera voluntaria un cuestionario en línea. Los resultados mostraron que las mujeres, personas jóvenes, en primera línea de salud, con enfermedades crónicas, trastornos mentales, con parientes o colegas contagiados, son más vulnerables psicológicamente durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Estos resultados contribuyen a comprender las respuestas ante la cuarentena y la pandemia en el talento humano en salud y ayudan a identificar factores protectores y de vulnerabilidad para diseñar programas de intervención y prevención.1.
