| Summary: | This document explores the trends and studies carried out in the last decade in Colombia on early childhood. Twenty-three scientific articles on research conducted with this population group were reviewed. The methodological approach is qualitative, using the strategy of documentary analysis for the revision of the texts. Eleven categories of early childhood were obtained: nutrition, comprehensive care programs, caregivers, preschool academic performance, language, reading, symbolic function, social policies, social inclusion, social inequality and physical activity. It is concluded that the topic with more findings is nutrition and most of the articles reviewed talk about the child as a second voice but not as a protagonist and creator of knowledge and new skills. |
