description	La presente investigación trata sobre la Calidad de Vida Relacionada con la Salud (CVRS) en pacientes que han sufrido trauma múltiple, la cual se define como una medida que varía según el valor asignado, teniendo en cuenta la duración de la vida en función de la apreciación de las limitaciones físicas, psicológicas, sociales y el descenso de oportunidades a raíz de la enfermedad, las secuelas, el manejo terapéutico y/o las políticas de salud. Para analizar la CVRS es necesario mencionar que existen diversas escalas de medición, tales como la SF-36, EQ-5D, WHOQOL-BREF, entre otras. Se evalúa al individuo teniendo en cuenta su estado de salud y su nivel de función en el desempeño de las actividades diarias, partiendo de la importancia que tiene la CV de una persona que ha sufrido trauma múltiple y la cual se modifica totalmente a partir de este suceso. La CVRS, después del trauma, se relaciona con el tipo de lesión, pues a mayor severidad, su estado de salud se verá significativamente más bajo y, a partir de ese momento, dependerá del cuidado de otra persona, en este caso la enfermera (o), que debe estar capacitado para el manejo de este tipo de pacientes, ya que su CV será notablemente afectada en sus esferas mental, emocional, laboral, económica y familiar. Objetivo: Evidenciar la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud en adultos que presentaron trauma múltiple. Metodología: Se realizó una revisión bibliografía de artículos científicos sobre la Calidad de Vida Relacionada con la Salud en adultos que han presentado trauma múltiple, en el periodo de 1999 hasta la actualidad. Se seleccionaron las palabras clave, las cuales se investigaron en las plataformas DeCS y MeSH, para validar su definición. Una vez validadas, se crearon las fórmulas booleanas, las cuales fueron utilizadas para la búsqueda en las diferentes bases de datos bibliográficas institucionales como: Proquest, Science, Springer, Taylor y BVS, seleccionando 40 artículos teniendo en cuenta los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Posterior a eso, se elaboró una tabla de Excel que contenía los siguientes datos: título, revista, autores, año de publicación, país, disciplina, muestra y variables; esto con el fin de analizar y filtrar los datos previamente obtenidos. Resultados: Se evidenció que, en su mayoría, los pacientes fueron adultos y adultos mayores con una prevalencia en el sexo masculino. En el mecanismo de lesión predominó el traumatismo craneoencefálico generado en su mayoría por accidente de tránsito. La CVRS se evaluó por medio de la escala SF-36 concluyendo que la dimensión más afectada fue la función física. La dimensión rol emocional, salud mental y dolor corporal también se vieron afectadas negativamente en comparación con las dimensiones rol físico, función social y vitalidad que estuvieron significativamente buenas. Conclusión: La Calidad de Vida Relacionada con la Salud es valorada por instrumentos como la SF-36, la cual se vio afectada en la dimensión función física. La mayor parte de la población presentó trauma múltiple debido a accidentes de tránsito, evidenciando maniobras peligrosas en carretera, presentando en su mayoría trauma craneoencefálico.

Repositorio Institucional Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia.https://repository.ucc.edu.co/handle/20.500.12494/53135La presente investigación trata sobre la Calidad de Vida Relacionada con la Salud (CVRS) en pacientes que han sufrido trauma múltiple, la cual se define como una medida que varía según el valor asignado, teniendo en cuenta la duración de la vida en función de la apreciación de las limitaciones físicas, psicológicas, sociales y el descenso de oportunidades a raíz de la enfermedad, las secuelas, el manejo terapéutico y/o las políticas de salud. Para analizar la CVRS es necesario mencionar que existen diversas escalas de medición, tales como la SF-36, EQ-5D, WHOQOL-BREF, entre otras. Se evalúa al individuo teniendo en cuenta su estado de salud y su nivel de función en el desempeño de las actividades diarias, partiendo de la importancia que tiene la CV de una persona que ha sufrido trauma múltiple y la cual se modifica totalmente a partir de este suceso. La CVRS, después del trauma, se relaciona con el tipo de lesión, pues a mayor severidad, su estado de salud se verá significativamente más bajo y, a partir de ese momento, dependerá del cuidado de otra persona, en este caso la enfermera (o), que debe estar capacitado para el manejo de este tipo de pacientes, ya que su CV será notablemente afectada en sus esferas mental, emocional, laboral, económica y familiar. Objetivo: Evidenciar la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud en adultos que presentaron trauma múltiple. Metodología: Se realizó una revisión bibliografía de artículos científicos sobre la Calidad de Vida Relacionada con la Salud en adultos que han presentado trauma múltiple, en el periodo de 1999 hasta la actualidad. Se seleccionaron las palabras clave, las cuales se investigaron en las plataformas DeCS y MeSH, para validar su definición. Una vez validadas, se crearon las fórmulas booleanas, las cuales fueron utilizadas para la búsqueda en las diferentes bases de datos bibliográficas institucionales como: Proquest, Science, Springer, Taylor y BVS, seleccionando 40 artículos teniendo en cuenta los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Posterior a eso, se elaboró una tabla de Excel que contenía los siguientes datos: título, revista, autores, año de publicación, país, disciplina, muestra y variables; esto con el fin de analizar y filtrar los datos previamente obtenidos. Resultados: Se evidenció que, en su mayoría, los pacientes fueron adultos y adultos mayores con una prevalencia en el sexo masculino. En el mecanismo de lesión predominó el traumatismo craneoencefálico generado en su mayoría por accidente de tránsito. La CVRS se evaluó por medio de la escala SF-36 concluyendo que la dimensión más afectada fue la función física. La dimensión rol emocional, salud mental y dolor corporal también se vieron afectadas negativamente en comparación con las dimensiones rol físico, función social y vitalidad que estuvieron significativamente buenas. Conclusión: La Calidad de Vida Relacionada con la Salud es valorada por instrumentos como la SF-36, la cual se vio afectada en la dimensión función física. La mayor parte de la población presentó trauma múltiple debido a accidentes de tránsito, evidenciando maniobras peligrosas en carretera, presentando en su mayoría trauma craneoencefálico.Introduction: This research deals with the Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) in patients who have suffered multiple trauma, which is defined as a measure that varies according to the assigned value, taking into account the duration of life depending on the appreciation of the physical, psychological, and social limitations and decreased opportunities as a result of the disease, its sequelae, therapeutic management, and/or health policies. To analyze HRQoL, it is necessary to mention that there are various measurement scales, such as the SF-36, EQ-5D, WHOQOL-BREF, among others. The individual is evaluated taking into account their state of health and their level of function in the performance of daily activities, based on the importance of the QoL of a person who has suffered multiple trauma and which is totally modified from this event. The HRQoL, after the trauma, is related to the type of injury, since the more severe, the state of health will be significantly lower and, from that moment on, they will depend on the care of another person, in this case the nurse ( o), who must be trained to manage this type of patients, since their CV will be significantly affected in their mental, emotional, work, economic and family spheres. Objective: Evidence the quality of life related to health in adults who presented multiple trauma. Methodology: A bibliographical review of scientific papers on the HRQoL in adults who have presented multiple trauma was carried out, in the period from 1999 to the present. The keywords were selected, which were investigated in the DeCS platforms. and MeSH, to validate their definition. Once validated, the Boolean formulas were created, which were used for the search in the different institutional bibliographic databases such as: Proquest, Science, Springer, Taylor and VHL, selecting 40 articles taking into account the inclusion and exclusion criteria. After that, an Excel table was prepared which contained the following data: title, journal, authors, year of publication, country, discipline, sample and variables; this in order to analyze and filter the previously obtained data. Results: It was evidenced that the majority of the patients were adults and older adults with a prevalence in the male sex. In the mechanism of injury, the craniocerebral trauma predominated, generated mostly by traffic accident. HRQoL was evaluated using the SF-36 scale, concluding that the most affected dimension was physical function. The emotional role dimension, mental health and bodily pain were also negatively affected compared to the physical role, social function, and vitality dimensions, which were significantly good.
