description Existen diferentes evidencias científicas acerca del uso del Ácido Tranexámico como profilaxis y tratamiento en pacientes con alto riesgo de hemorragia intra y post- operativa como en los pacientes con hemofilia y con anticoagulantes orales. Este estudio pretende determinar la eficacia del Ácido Tránexamico en procedimientos orales menores en pacientes anticoagulados ampliando los conocimientos existentes sobre el uso clínico de los agentes antifibrinoliticos (Ácido Tranexámico). MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Se realizó una revisión sistemática de literatura realizando búsquedas en bases de datos como PUBMED, EMBASE, Cochrane Database of sistematic Review, correspondientes al periodo de 1999 hasta 2011, como ensayos controlados aleatorios, estudios de cohorte. Se obtuvieron 147 artículos, fueron seleccionados 77 artículos que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y aplicándole la GUÍA CASPE se obtuvieron 9. RESULTADOS: CONCLUSIÓN: Los resultados mostraron que en el curso del posoperatorio el uso del acido tranexámico de manera local como apósito o como enjuague bucal presenta una marcada eficacia al controlar de manera optima la hemorragia realizando una hemostasia total.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of tranexamic acid in minor oral procedures in patients anticoagulated expand existing knowledge on the clinical use of antifibrinolytic agents (tranexamic acid).
