El test de matrices progresivas estándar de Raven (SPM) es un instrumento que originalmente se diseñó para medir el factor ‘g’ de Spearman que describe la inteligencia general, es comúnmente usado para proporcionar una estimación de la capacidad de razonamiento fluido (Gf) que es el uso intencionado de operaciones mentales, con el fin de solucionar conflictos nuevos como la formación de conceptos, la clasificación, la generación y evaluación de hipótesis, identificación de relaciones, comprensión de implicaciones y la transformación de la información. Por la anterior este estudio se propuso evaluar las propiedades psicométricas del SPM, a través de cuatro análisis de validez, divididos en dos: análisis factorial exploratorio y análisis factorial confirmatorio. |

Por la anterior este estudio se propuso evaluar las propiedades psicométricas del SPM, a través de cuatro análisis de validez, divididos en dos: análisis factorial exploratorio y análisis factorial confirmatorio.Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices Test (SPM) is an instrument that was originally designed to measure Spearman's 'g' factor that describes general intelligence, it is commonly used to provide an estimate of fluent reasoning ability (Gf) that it is the intentional use of mental operations, in order to solve new conflicts such as the formation of concepts, the classification, the generation and evaluation of hypotheses, identification of relationships, understanding of implications and the transformation of information.
