En el análisis llevado a cabo se ha intentado englobar los antecedentes comerciales de Colombia con el Reino Unido específicamente en el subsector de la hortofrutícola desde el año 2016 al año 2018 para así poder presentar un análisis más detallado del comportamiento de las exportaciones de nuestro país hacia Reino Unido. En efecto Reino Unido es el tercer socio comercial más importante para Colombia respecto a la exportación de productos del sector horticultura, cabe mencionar que este sector es uno de los más productivos del país y que más genera empleo junto al sector de los hidrocarburos, en los años analizados podemos observar un constante crecimiento de ventas hacia Reino Unido. Para un país como Colombia donde uno del sector más fuerte es el agrícola, es muy importante mantenerse al día en reglamentación sanitaria y tratados internacionales. Es por ello, por lo que el acontecimiento Brexit no puede ser pasado por alto, puesto que el no estar a la vanguardia referente a normatividad y tratados puede exponer al país a la pérdida de un importante socio comercial. A pesar de estos acontecimientos tanto Colombia como Reino Unido han trabajado muy duro, introduciendo un acuerdo bilateral para no perder su relación comercial. En conclusión, Colombia debe estar alerta e implementar nuevos instrumentos y acuerdos que faciliten el comercio internacional con Reino Unido., en la siguiente revisión se pretende instruir al lector y dar a conocer los movimientos realizados por las partes respecto al acontecimiento del Brexit. |

En conclusión, Colombia debe estar alerta e implementar nuevos instrumentos y acuerdos que faciliten el comercio internacional con Reino Unido., en la siguiente revisión se pretende instruir al lector y dar a conocer los movimientos realizados por las partes respecto al acontecimiento del Brexit.The analysis carried out has attempted to encompass Colombia's trade history with the United Kingdom specific to the fruit and vegetable subsector from 2016 to 2018, in order to present a more detailed analysis of the behavior of our country's exports to United Kingdom Indeed, the United Kingdom is the third most important trading partner for Colombia with respect to the export of products from the horticulture sector, it should be noted that this sector is one of the most productive in the country and that it generates more employment along with the hydrocarbon sector, in the analyzed years we can observe a constant growth of sales to the United Kingdom. For a country like Colombia, which is its strongest sector is agriculture, it is very important to keep up to date with health regulations and international treaties. Therefore, the Brexit episode cannot be overlooked regarding this matter, since if Colombia is not at the forefront regarding regulations and treaties, it may lose an important trading partner. Despite these events, both Colombia and the United Kingdom have worked very hard introducing a bilateral agreement so as not to lose their commercial relationship. In conclusion, Colombia must constantly maintain and be vigilant by implementing new instruments and agree to facilitate international trade with the United Kingdom.
