description Las diarreas en la clínica felina son una de las consultas de mayor frecuencia en la clínica diaria. Pueden ser de origen viral, parasitario, bacteriano, por alergias alimentación, obstrucciones o secundarias a procesos como neoplasias, pancreatitis o hepatitis. Como resultado ocurre disbiosis bacteriana generando como signo clínico la diarrea. Lograr un correcto diagnóstico de la causa de la diarrea puede ser difícil sin el uso de herramientas convencionales como hemogramas, ecografías, radiografías, también pueden emplearse pruebas especializadas como reacción en cadena de la polimerasa (PCR), enzimoinmunoanálisis de adsorción (ELISA), esto con el fin de proponer un correcto tratamiento.

They can be of viral, parasitic, bacterial origin, due to allergies, food, obstructions or secondary to processes such as neoplasms, pancreatitis, or hepatitis. As a result, bacterial dysbiosis occurs, showing diarrhea as a clinical sign.
