description La presente propuesta de investigación pretende como su nombre lo indica describir el nivel de adaptación que presenta los adolescentes al ser diagnosticados con VIH/SIDA en la ciudad de Villavicencio, cabe aclarar que el VIH/SIDA es una enfermedad que repercute en jóvenes de ambos sexos, trayendo como consecuencia altibajos en su vida cotidiana, el ambiente pasa a ser un factor importante a la hora de recibir el tratamiento ya que el no contar con una buena red de apoyo puede afectar el proceso de afrontamiento frente a la enfermedad de VIH/SIDA.
