Para esta revisión se consultaron las principa- les bases de datos (PsycINFO, MedLine/Pubmed, Francis, CSIC, IME, ISOC, Social Sciences Citation Index, Disser- tations y Theses, Library of Congress, Biblioteca Nacional de España: Ariadna), se seleccionaron las principales investigaciones y se sugieren diferentes temas para futuras investigaciones, permitiendo determinar la importancia de los aportes de la Psicología en este campo de la salud.
