Se emplean diversos recursos para desarrollar la narrativa, esto dependerá del estilo con el cual se ordenen las ideas del discurso, de ahí que la narrativa sea rica en sus modalidades para presentar relatos. A continuación se presentan sus principales características: Los textos están escritos en prosa a fin de exponer, con mayor detalle, las descripciones que envuelven a la historia. Aunque son menos comunes, también hay textos cuya narrativa posee versos largos. Tiene como objetivo comunicar y dar a conocer un relato o serie de acontecimientos. Sus elementos más importantes son: el narrador, los personajes, el espacio o ambiente, la historia y el estilo de narración. Generalmente, primero se exponen los personajes y el espacio o ambiente, luego se desarrollan los hechos hasta llegar al punto de máxima tensión y, a continuación, le sigue el desenlace y fin de la historia. Los relatos se narran en tercera persona, no obstante, también se pueden realizar narraciones en segunda o primera persona, son menos comunes pero no incorrectas. El narrador puede o no formar parte de los personajes. Forma parte de la comunicación y se puede apreciar tanto en los textos impresos como en los diálogos teatrales y cinematográficos, las historietas y las telenovelas, como parte de las modalidades modernas de la transmisión de contenido e información. |
