Caso clínico: Hombre de 47 años, tabaquista con disnea progresiva a quien se realizaron estudios de biopsia e inmunohistoquímica y se diagnosticó: blastoma pulmonar bifásico clásico. Se estableció tratamiento, sin embargo, el paciente falleció. Conclusión: Este tumor representó un reto, dado que en la literatura no existe un tratamiento con evidencia epidemiológicamente sólida. Relevancia: Esta neoplasia constituye un desafío y este es el primer caso reportado en Colombia.

Clinical case: 47-year-old man, smoker with progressive dyspnea who underwent biopsy and immunohistochemical studies and was diagnosed with: classic biphasic pulmonary blastoma. Treatment was established, however, the patient died. Conclusion: This tumor represented a challenge given that in the literature there is no treatment with solid epidemiological evidence.
