La reforma universitaria que era un viejo anhelo de los educadores cubanos, se realizó después de la profunda transformación socioeconómica originada por el triunfo de la revolución cubana, los éxitos que la educación superior cubana ha alcanzado en los últimos 25 años están indisolublemente vinculados a las medidas adoptadas al calor de un cambio social profundo y verdadero. La educación superior cubana dedica recursos y esfuerzos para el desarrollo de las actividades deportivas, culturales y de recreación de los jóvenes universitarios, considerando como de principal importancia la atención a las mismas, como parte indisoluble de la formación multifacética de los futuros profesionales; la participación de los estudiantes universitarios en la investigación científica, el deporte, la cultura, la recreación, no puede tener éxito con solamente la acción institucional la coordinación con el movimiento estudiantil cubano es imprescindible. |
