Introduction: This article derives from the research project on the “state of the art of serious games on Android mobile platform for learning software modeling”, conducted by the software development incubator at the Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano between 2015 and 2017. The objective of the research was to look for serious games on Android for learning software modeling. Methodology: A search was made in digital databases, such as Scopus, ebsco, Elsevier, ieee Xplore, Digital Library, among others. The search was focused on the development of serious games on Android for learning software modeling. Results: Fifty-two articles were found that met the research guidelines, but not its objective. In addition, great benefits of using mobile devices as a tool in education were identified. Conclusion: It was found that serious games are a very important tool in the learning process, but as their use is not massive or, for now, they have not been implemented in all fields of knowledge, the teacher must be committed to assisting students as they adapt to their use. |

El objetivo de la investigación fue buscar juegos serios en Android sobre el aprendizaje del modelado de software. Metodología: se realizó una búsqueda en bases de datos digitales como Scopus, ebsco, Elsevier, ieee Xplore y Digital Library, entre otras. La búsqueda se enfocó en el desarrollo de juegos serios en Android para el aprendizaje del modelado de software. Resultados: se encontraron 52 artículos que cumplían con el lineamiento de la investigación, mas no con su objetivo. Además, se identificaron grandes beneficios al usar dispositivos móviles como una herramienta en la educación. Conclusión: se encontró que el juego serio es una herramienta muy importante en el proceso de aprendizaje, pero como su uso no es masivo o, en el momento, no se implementa en todos los campos y áreas de estudio, se debe tener la ayuda y el compromiso del docente con el fin de realizar el acompañamiento a medida que los estudiantes se adaptan al uso de los mismos.Introdução: este artigo é resultado do projeto de pesquisa do grupo de desenvolvimento de software do Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano sobre o “estado da arte dos jogos sérios sobre plataforma móvel Android para a aprendizagem da modelagem de software”, desenvolvido entre 2015 e 2017. O objetivo da investigação foi buscar jogos sérios em Android sobre a aprendizagem na modelagem de software. Metodologia: foi realizada uma busca em bases de dados digitais, como Scopus, ebsco, Elsevier, ieee Xplore, Digital Library, entre outras. A busca foi enfocada no desenvolvimento de jogos sérios em Android para a aprendizagem na modelagem de software. Resultados: foram encontrados 52 artigos que cumpriam com o alinhamento da pesquisa, mas não com seu objetivo. Além disso, grandes benefícios foram identificados ao usar dispositivos móveis como uma ferramenta na educação.
