Description
Summary:This book outlines a proposal for the implementation of a child sexual abuse (csa) prevention program. The aim of this program is to build protection networks involving parents, teachers, professionals and, of course, children in an enjoyable, responsive, and friendly manner. The book is divided into two thematic lines. The first one defines the concept of csa, risk factors and consequences this phenomenon has for children in the short and long term, as well as the legal and social aspects that favor implementation of a prevention program as a children protection policy. The second thematic line includes the objectives and philosophy of the program and the specification of each workshop: Institutional Workshop, Teacher Workshop, Parent Workshop, and two Child Workshops for children aged 4-6 and 7-10. The book provides guidance for educational institutions, which can have this tool to create protective school contexts against child sexual abuse.
