La sincronización de celo en bovinos es una herramienta que favorece a los diferentes productores con el fin de aumentar la eficiencia reproductiva y así mismo su rentabilidad del hato tanto en ganaderías productoras de leche como de carne y el doble propósito, con las diferentes alternativas que buscan favorecer y aumentar la rentabilidad disminuyendo el intervalo de partos y así mismo obteniendo genética de gran calidad para así destacar lo mejor en su descendencia. El uso de hormonas exógenas (progesterona, prostaglandina F2α, hormona liberadora de gonadotropinas, gonadotropina coriónica equina, estrógenos, entre otras) nos favorece a tener un control del ciclo estral, para así realizar la inseminación a tiempo fijo (IATF) en un momento esperado. Hoy en día estos protocolos han avanzado con las nuevas investigaciones y estudios los cuales nos favorecen ya que nos permite conjugar las diferentes hormonas para así obtener una alta eficiencia en el momento de realizar la inseminación (IA). En el mercado se encuentran diferentes protocolos los cuales consisten en protocolos a base de prostaglandina y progesterona, y otros más complejos como lo son los protocolos Ov-Synch, Co-Synch (5 y 7) Pre-Synch y J-Synch con o sin modificaciones. Todos estos protocolos son de gran importancia para las diferentes ganaderías tanto como de carne como de leche y el doble propósito, los diferentes protocolos generando un impacto favorable en la biotecnología reproductiva ya que brinda un gran potencial para el mejoramiento genético y la diminución de intervalo entre partos. |

The use of exogenous hormones (progesterone, prostaglandin F2α, gonadotropin-releasing hormone, equine chorionic gonadotropin, estrogens, among others) favors us to have control of the estrous cycle, to carry out insemination at a fixed time (IATF) at an expected time. Today these protocols have advanced with new research and studies which favor us since it allows us to combine the different hormones to obtain high efficiency at the time of insemination (AI). In the market there are different protocols which consist of protocols based on prostaglandin and progesterone, and others a little more complex such as the Ov-Synch, Co-Synch (5 and 7) Pre-Synch and J-Synch protocols with or without modifications.
