description	Encontramos que las operaciones logísticas relativas a la Cuarta Revolución Industrial (Industria 4.0), acontecen en tres marcos de comprensión que identifican sus implicaciones en los negocios internacionales. Primeramente, en una coyuntura histórica que marca un nuevo paradigma de las lógicas referentes a las líneas de producción y la manufactura de las industrias, al adoptar un enfoque centrado en la utilización de herramientas cada vez más automatizadas y digitalizadas (robótica, inteligencia artificial, Internet de las Cosas). En segundo lugar, en términos de la logística empresarial propiamente, al lograr una mayor personalización de la cadena de suministro, los métodos de control y evaluación de las empresas, a través de la automatización inteligente de los sistemas físicos y cibernéticos. Y, por último, desde los beneficios y desventajas que se fue posible percibir en el contexto internacional y nacional frente a la aplicación de las operaciones logísticas propias de la Industria 4.0. En cuyo caso, los beneficios refirieron al ámbito administrativo y operacional, mientras las desventajas, a la sobre especialización del trabajo y la posición desventajosa de los países latinoamericanos.

First, at a historical juncture that marks a new paradigm of logic related to the production lines and manufacturing of industries, adopting an approach focused on the use of increasingly automated and digitized tools (robotics, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things). Second, in terms of business logistics, by achieving greater customization of the supply chain and the methods of control and evaluation of companies, through the intelligent automation of physical and cybernetic systems. And, finally, from the benefits and disadvantages that it was possible to perceive in the international and national context in terms of the application of the logistic operations of Industry 4.0.
