Summary:Globalization leaves no place for the weak; the companies that are willing to survive and be successful in the dynamism and exigency of the global business environment are forced to adapt to the needs of the market. Globalization together with rapid technological advance has changed the competitive landscape in business and has created strains on organizational forms. In an aim to be competent, executives have attempted to ease the impact of environmental conditions by trying to accomplish goals through designing projects. Implementation of IT projects have grown to be critical and essential for companies that intend to improve their organizational structure to have better operational systems, an enhanced access to information and improve efficiency of processes.
