description Los sistemas agrícolas se comportan y tienen características de sistemas complejos. El cambio climático afecta directamente múltiples sistemas en la tierra, entre ellos, los agrícolas. Se pronostica que el cambio climático causará varios efectos —positivos, negativos y neutros en la agricultura. El control biológico, como estrategia fundamental para el manejo de plagas y enfermedades en la agricultura, puede sufrir alteraciones inesperadas como consecuencia del cambio climático. Debemos estar preparados y enfrentar problemas complejos con soluciones inteligentes, educadas e integradas, para así mitigar al máximo las consecuencias negativas del cambio climático, aprovechando las herramientas científicas y tecnológicas que tenemos hoy, tales como la epidemiología y el modelaje (en el que se encuentran los modelos de redes), para afrontar tanto las consecuencias evidentes del cambio climático en la agricultura como las que no lo son.

El cambio climático afecta directamente múltiples sistemas en la tierra, entre ellos, los agrícolas. Se pronostica que el cambio climático causará varios efectos —positivos, negativos y neutros en la agricultura. El control biológico, como estrategia fundamental para el manejo de plagas y enfermedades en la agricultura, puede sufrir alteraciones inesperadas como consecuencia del cambio climático.
